BYRON – Julie L. Frye, age 55, of Byron passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born in Rockford on March 28, 1965 the daughter of Larry and Donna (German) Boes.
She married Bradley Frye on July 27, 1985. Julie worked for many years at Landstar Inway in Rockford. She was very family oriented and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Julie was also a loving dog mom to Riley and Dallas. She was a great cook and had a creative spirit which she used to craft and make cards.
She is survived by her husband Bradley of Byron; father, Larry Boes of Byron; children, Courtney (Nick) Williams of Byron and Joshua Frye of Winnebago; brothers, Bradley Boes of Peoria and Brian (Melissa) Boes of Roscoe; grandsons, Connor, Logan, and Mason; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Boes, grandparents, Louis and Vera German, and in-laws Earl and Patricia Whipple.
