OREGON – The Oregon Park District Concert in the Park series continues in July with three more concerts on Tuesday evenings.
Concerts begin at 7 p.m. at Oregon Park West.
Love & Thunder will take the stage on July 11. Sponsored by Stillman Bank, Love & Thunder includes some of the area's best musicians and features both male and female lead vocals, including Oregon's own Shelley Nelson Myers. They play not only the hottest new country music but also some of your favorite classics.
Burn N'Bush joins us in the park on July 18. Sponsored by Woods/Blount, Burn N' Bush is a two pice acoustic band featuring Rod Burnette and Dave Bushman. Burn N'Bush plans a variety of rock, country and oldies combined with their brand of fun, sing-a-long standards. Tristan Bushman will be opening for Burn N'Bush.
The final concert and Oregon Park District's 50th Anniversary Celebration will feature SoapStone. Let's just say....SoapStone covers it all. They are a unique and entertaining cover band that brings fun to the stage. This Rochelle/based trio will cover everything from country, classic rock, Motown, pop, you name it and they can play it. Stick around after the show for the Oregon Park District's first-ever fireworks show at dusk!
