Feb. 25
At 8:44 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of 4th and Washington Streets involving a 2013 Buick driven by Debra S. Julian, 63, Oregon, and a 2013 Ford driven by Ronald W. Watts, 77, Oregon. No citations were issued.
At 5:57 p.m., Oregon Police issued Todd M. Decker, 53, Rockford, citations for improper overtaking on the right and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred at the intersection of 4th and Washington Streets.
Feb. 26
At 12:14 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jose C. Martinez, 82, DeKalb, a citation for no valid driver’s license. This violation occurred in the 300 block of E. Washington Street.
At 12:49 p.m., Oregon Police issued Rico Richards, 39, Milwaukee, Wis., citations for no valid registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to transfer title. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
At 1:00 p.m., Oregon Police, following the investigation of a disturbance that had occurred in the early morning hours of 2/24/19 in the 100 block of S. 4th Street, arrested Meg C. Moorehead, 25, Mt. Morris, for battery. Moorehead was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 5:13 p.m., Oregon Police issued Marilyn A. Ramirez, 55, Mt. Morris, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 200 block of W. Washington Street.
At 5:41 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jacob W. Diehl, 22, Oregon, a citation for no valid registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
At 6:07 p.m., Oregon Police issued Gregory A. Helstrom, 62, Dixon, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
At 6:35 p.m., Oregon Police issued Matthew T. Modrzejeuski, 28, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
Feb. 27
At 3:07 p.m., Oregon Police issued Victor J. Schwartz, 32, Oregon, citations for passing a school bus while loading or unloading and driving while license suspended. These violations occurred in the 1300 block of Koontz Place.
At 3:40 p.m., Oregon Police issued Laine A. Painter, 55, Mt. Morris, citations for disobeying a traffic control device and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 100 block of S. 10th Street.
At 8:22 p.m., Oregon Police issued Peter R. Ruef, 27, Machesney Park, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 200 block of E. Washington Street.
Feb. 28
At 1:30 p.m., Oregon Police issued Matthew A. McKenzie, 50, Oregon, a citation for speeding, 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 500 block of N. 4th Street.
At 8:14 p.m., Oregon Police issued Bradley R. Larson, 69, Mt. Morris, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of W. Washington Street.
March 1
At 3:34 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Nathan P. Hand, age 39, Chana, for driving while license suspended. Hand was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Pines Road.
At 7:30 a.m., Oregon Police issued Mark A. Lindsey, 30, Kewanee, IL, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 300 block of W. Washington Street.
At 5:18 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Christopher A. Just, Jr., 27, Mt. Morris, for driving while license suspended. Just was also issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Just was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 300 block of E. Washington Street.
At 8:14 p.m., Oregon Police issued Victor J. Heather, 17, Oregon, a citation for speeding, 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 500 block of N. 4th Street.
At 8:40 p.m., Oregon Police issued Robert E. Lopez, III, 22, Rockford, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
At 11:23 p.m., Oregon Police issued a civil citation to Jackie L. Crow, 27, Rock Falls, for possession of cannabis not more than 10 grams. A passenger in Crow’s vehicle, a juvenile male aged 16, Rock Falls, was also issued civil citations for possession of cannabis not more than 10 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. These violations occurred in the 1000 block of S. IL Route 2.
March 2
At 4:30 p.m., Oregon Police issued Dane A. Camling, 34, Oregon, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
At 4:48 p.m., Oregon Police issued Erin K. Fox, 30, Franklin Grove, citations for use of a cell phone while driving and no valid driver’s license. These violations occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
