April 1
At 7:06 a.m., Oregon Police issued William J. DeLong, 57, Dixon, citations for use of a cell phone while driving and unlawful window tint. These violations occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
At 10:09 a.m., Oregon Police issued Paul M. Homman, 49, Leaf River, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
At 8:32 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of S. 2nd Street resulting in the arrest of Joseph D. Caldwell, II, 26, Oregon, for domestic battery. Caldwell was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 10:17 p.m., Oregon Police issued Connor J. Speaker, 26, Freeport, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 500 block of Jefferson Street.
April 2, 2019:
At 10:18 a.m., Oregon Police issued Angela R. Stafford, 38, Oregon, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 900 block of W. Washington Street.
At 11:55 a.m., Oregon Police issued Brittney N. Merryman, 22, Chana, citations for use of a cell phone while driving and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 700 block of Jefferson Street.
At 3 p.m., Oregon Police issued Kristi L. Usterbowski, 41, of Morrison, IL, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street.
April 3
At 8:31 a.m., Oregon Police issued Kywan Edmonson, 45, Rockford, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
At 2:14 p.m., Oregon School Resource Officer issued one 15-year-old male juvenile, Oregon, a city citation for violating city ordinance 2019-100 – possession of tobacco or alternative nicotine products/vape; and one 17-year-old male juvenile, Oregon, was also issued a city citation for violating city ordinance 2019-100 – possession of tobacco or alternative nicotine products/vape.
At 7:10 p.m., Oregon Police issued Alexei H. Erickson, 24, of Steward, IL, a civil citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. This violation occurred in the 500 block of E. Washington Street.
April 4
At 8:35 p.m., Oregon Police issued Rodney Pitt, 68, Oregon, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of 10th and Madison Streets.
April 5
At 12:22 p.m., Oregon Police issued Christine M. Garnett, 47, Oregon, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of 10th and Madison Streets.
April 6
At 2:51 p.m., Oregon Police issued Darren T. Barker, 48, of Elgin, IL, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred in the 300 block of S. 10th Street.
At 6 p.m., Oregon Police issued Roxanne Yancey, 59, of San Antonio, Texas, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 600 block of Gale Road.
April 7
At 2:58 p.m., Oregon Police issued Clifford A. Yates, 31, Rockford, citations for failure to wear a seat belt as a driver and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. A passenger in Yates’ vehicle, Michael E. Finneran, 29, Elgin, was issued a civil citation for possession of cannabis less than 10 grams. These violations occurred in the 600 block of S. 4th Street.
At 8:42 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Vivika O. Trujillo, 21, Sterling, for possession of a controlled substance, Trujillo was also issued citations for speeding, 47mph in a 30mph zone, operating an uninsured vehicle, and no valid driver’s license. Lavelle T. Sykes, 30, Sterling, a passenger in Trujillo’s vehicle, was also issued a citation for illegal transportation of alcohol as a passenger. A second passenger in Trujillo’s vehicle, Cordaris A. Stokes, 31, Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear. Trujillo and Stokes were transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 700 block of N. 4th Street.
