OREGON – Have you ever wanted to learn how to cross country ski or snowshoe? Here is your chance.
The Oregon Park District has teamed up with Lorado Taft Campus to offer a new program on Saturday, Dec. 8. Join the Lorado Taft Campus staff from 10 a.m. to about noon to try either cross country skiing or snowshoeing.
The session will include a short introduction into cross country skiing and snowshoeing, tips on how to do both, as well as time to practice your new-found skills! Boots, skis and snowshoes are included. All ages are invited for this program.
Weather permitting, the program will take place at Lorado Taft Campus. Meet at Taft by 10 a.m. Fee is $11/Resident and $13/Non-Resident. Dress for outdoor activity. Deadline to register is Saturday, Dec. 1.
