Two chances to watch eagles soar

OREGON – Join the Oregon Park District at Taft Field Campus for an opportunity to watch the bald eagles soar past the dining hall windows while you enjoy your all you can eat brunch of biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, fried chicken, cinnamon rolls and other delicious treats.

 Learn about bald eagle mating habits, how they raise their young, as well as why they are "bald" during interactive educational brunch. Due to the past popularity of this program, there will be two date options to choose from. You may attend on Sunday, Jan. 5 or Sunday, Jan. 26. The fee for each event is $15/Resident and $18/Non-Resident. All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 3 and under are free.

Registration deadline for both dates is Dec. 20 or until full. This popular brunch filled up quickly last year. Online registration is available at oregonpark.org or by calling 815-732-3101. You may also register in person at Nash Recreation Center located at 304 S. Fifth St., Oregon.
