Amy Faber Beard

Posted

Amy Faber Beard went into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, Nov. 8th, 2021. She was born on Feb. 4th, 1962 in Dixon. She was the youngest of Herbert and Virginia Faber. She graduated from Polo Community High School in 1980. Amy married the love of her life, Paul Beard on July 25th, 1998.

At the age of 17, Amy was diagnosed with Lupus. Despite that, her spirit was undaunted. Family and friends will testify that she lived a life of grace, purpose and conviction, sharing her faith with all those that she came into contact with. SHE LOVED JESUS. Amy taught flute lessons for several years and touched many young lives. One thing we will always remember is her Amy-isms and how we learned to not take life to seriously.

Amy is survived by her husband Paul Beard, beloved fur baby Bella, brother Brett (Pam) Faber, of Polo, sisters Kim Adams of Zephyrhills, Fla., Jodie (Bradley) Galik of Woodstock, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Virginia Faber, sisters Vickie Choudoir and Colleen Myler and brother Kurt Faber.

Celebration of life was held at Crossroads Church in Polo on Saturday, Nov.13th, 2021. The visitation was from 9-11 a.m. and the church service followed at 11 a.m.

Polo Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Please visit www.polofamilyfuneralhome.com to send condolences.
