OREGON – Anna Lee Thomas, age 79, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at Pinecrest Manor in Mount Morris. She was born May 8, 1940 near Polo, the daughter of Harold and Kathryn (Roos) Jones.
She graduated from Oregon High School in 1958. Anna married James B. Thomas on April 29, 1960 in Oregon. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2007. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church on Oregon. She loved to read, go to lunch with her friends, but most of all spend time with her children, grandchildren, and family members.
Anna was predeceased by her parents, husband James, son Brad Thomas, and brother Robert Jones.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Tom) Porter of Machesney Park, son Sam (Jodi) Thomas of Oregon, brother Michael (Rachel) Jones of Oregon, 7 grandchildren; Jay(Nichole) Porter, Andrea Porter (fiancée Trent Huntoon), Christina Porter, Rachel (Brian) Sneek, Matthew Thomas, Nolan and Olivia Thomas, and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, 2019 at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. 7th Street Oregon, with the Rev. Rodney R. Caldwell Chaplin of the Pinecrest Manor in Mount Morris officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery near Mount Morris.
