Annual Farm to Table dinner is July 30

OREGON – Oregon Park District’s Annual Farm to Table Dinner to go is back with curbside pick-up. 

Amazing food by local chefs but delivered to your car door. Plan a dinner date now for Friday, July 30. Reservations are required as a limited number of meals will be prepared.

The Farm to Table Dinner event is a fundraiser for the District’s Youth Scholarship Fund. All proceeds will help local youth in need participate in Park District sports and recreation programs.  Donations to the Scholarship Fund are accepted at any time so if you are on a special diet or out of town for this event, feel free to contact the Park District with a donation or purchase a meal and surprise a friend, neighbor, or relative with a fantastic dinner prepared by local “celebrity chefs.”

We do not want anyone to miss out on this delicious three course meal prepared by chefs from:  Ralfie’s BBQ & Catering, Hector’s Cocina, Northside BarBaQ, Jen’s Artisan Bread, Alfano’s, Hazel’s, The Noble Cakery, O’s Bakery, Lynnie’s Kitchen and Magnolia Sweets & Co.  These amazing chefs from our community all volunteer to make these dishes and many of them donate the ingredients needed that we are not able to source locally.  Most of the ingredients are donated by local growers and are fresh right from the farm, garden, beehive or berry patch. Without our donors, celebrity chefs and the Event Sponsor, Circle G Farms and Feedlots, this event would not be possible.

On the menu this year you will enjoy three courses.

Course one includes Grissini with Italian Herb Compound Butter courtesy of Jen’s Artisan Breads. Italian Salad with Sicilian Dressing courtesy of Alfano’s. Tuscan Bean Salad courtesy of Hazel’s.

Dinners can be picked up to take home, or you can plan a picnic in the park, or take your meal to one of the participating businesses in Oregon with outdoor seating.  Each meal will be packaged separately and ready to eat with silverware and napkins.
