Clifford 'Cliff' H. Greenhow

BYRON – Clifford “Cliff” H. Greenhow, 82, of Byron, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, in his home surrounded by family. Born June 16,1937, in Rockford, the son of Herbert and Alice (Anthony) Greenhow.

Cliff proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. He then went on to be owner of Cliff Greenhow Construction Custom Home Builder. He built many homes, in Rockford, and surrounding area including many in Wis. His final passion in life was woodworking.

Survivors include his wife Linda (Carr) Greenhow; sons Warren “Butch” (Jacki) Greenhow and Ronald (Teresa) Greenhow; daughter Beth (Mark) Bostrom; stepdaughters Jessica (Tom) Fraser and Jennifer (Brandon) Watts. Grandchildren, Kyle (Brenda) Greenhow, Kenton (Mary Stack) Greenhow, Jessica Greenhow, Chris (Amber) Kunze, Tiffany (Adam) Manix, Kara (Wayne) Trimbell, Koreen (Nate) Holmes, Kala (Steve) Noonan, Matt (Miri) Bostrom, Taylor Williams, Gavin, Carly and Brody Fraser, Persephone, Damien, Laney, Brandon (Dino), Maia, Camden, Danae Watts, many great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Sister Janet Smith; Ex-wife and mother of his children, Bonnie Greenhow; Brothers in-law, Steve, Stan and Doug Carr; Sister in law Lori (Tim) Benesh; many cousins, nieces and nephews and his dog Rosie.

Predeceased by his parents.

Graveside service with Military honors will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019 at noon in Daysville Cemetery, Oregon. Celebration of Life to immediately following at Tthe V.F.W, Oregon. Memorials may be made to the family. The family would like to thank the nurses from Serenity Hospice & Home for all their care.
