Creative crafting class offered

OREGON – The Oregon Park District and the Village of Progress have teamed up to offer a creative, crafting class for ages Kindergarten through 5th grade with an adult.

This class allows your child to express their creativity and create projects out of recycled materials with consumers and staff from the Village of Progress, Oregon. All classes will be held in their workshop located at 710 S. 13th St., off Pines Road, Oregon.

Kids will be working alongside people with developmental disabilities to create a seasonal project that can be used to decorate your home. Each participant must be accompanied by an adult.

These classes will offer a creative, fun experience for both child and adult. The summer class will be held on Wednesday, June 26 from 12:30-2 p.m. Children will be making a summer project to for decorate your home!

Cost is $8/Resident and $9/Non-Resident. Deadline to register is June 19.
