OREGON – Dianna M. Unzicker, age 66, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wis. She was born Jan. 6, 1953 in Freeport, the daughter of James and Mary Ann (Tietjen) Mokros.
Dianna graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1971. She than graduated from Cosmetology School. She worked several places throughout her life including Lace Motor Sales in Oregon, The Silo Restaurant in Oregon, Ehmen’s Industries for several years, and the past 8 years for Help At Home in Rock Falls.
She married Harold “Harry” E. Unzicker on Aug. 9, 1985 in Oregon.
She was a member of the Rochelle VFW Ladies Auxiliary # 3878. She enjoyed caring for people. She loved animals but especially her cats. Dianna enjoyed going on cruises, gardening, and her flowers.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years Harry, 3 brothers; Greg (Melody) Mokros of Freeport, Lyle (Kristine) Mokros of Platteville, Wis., and Albert (Ann) Mokros of Lena, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. 7th Street in Oregon, with the Pastor Wayne Fischer of the Zion Community Church in Pearl City officiating. A gathering followed the service at the Mount Morris Moose Lodge. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
