Dorothy Mae Borgmann, age 86, passed away Saturday Nov. 21, 2020 In Mercy Hospital Riverside Blvd. after a short illness.
Dorothy was born on Sept. 12, 1934 in Oregon, The daughter of Leo and Lillian (Davis) Stout.
Dorothy then married Roy Borgmann Oct.1, 1954 in Oregon. Roy preceded her in death on Oct 6, 1994.
Dorothy was a WONDERFUL wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
She worked at Kable Printing in her earlier years, as well as the Tasty Freeze in Leaf River.
She loved to play cards with her sons, she enjoyed her tea with the ladies at the Mini Mart there in Leaf River. From her recliner she really enjoyed the hummingbirds in her window while coloring or reading one of her several novels. She made blankets for her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She absolutely Loved her Chicago Bears. We always said she was the number one fan!!
Our Good Lord called her home to continue her greatness as an angel. After all, it’s what she has been all her life! She will be so missed.
Dorothy is survived by her children, William R. Borgmann of Adeline, Joanne K. Danekas (Jim) of Leaf River, Darrell R. Borgmann (Pam) of Adeline, David A. Borgmann (Julie) of Leaf River, Leonard E. Borgmann of Leaf River, and Donna R. Hillman (Steve) of Freeport, and a sister, Ada Burke of Grand Detour.
Dorothy is preceded by her parents, her Husband Roy Borgmann, and a sister Mary Morningstar.
Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home 405 E Hitt St. Mount Morris, IL.
A Celebration of Life with be decided at a later date!
