MOUNT MORRIS – this month’s First Friday falling on Dec. 7th, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, it is a perfect opportunity to blend music and patriotism at the Mount Morris Moose Family Center.
Once again, the MMMFC [485 E Hitt St. will host the popular open stage music show and a good time is assured for all.
Musicians will draw for time slots at 6:30 p.m. and performances will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until all musicians, even late arrivals, have had their turn on stage. A jam session will follow until it is time for the traditional closing with Will the Circle Be Unbroken.
The musical styles vary widely including country, bluegrass, folk, blues, light rock, and eclectic blending of multiple genres. The musicians will be supported by a professional sound system engineered by Kent Anders.
Music fans are encouraged to arrive hungry and thirsty as the Mt. Morris Moose Club is highly regarded for its food and beverage service.
