OREGON – Helen A. Wick, 98, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 at Oregon Living & Rehab. Born July 6, 1922, in Rockford, the daughter of Elmer and Anna (Ohlsen) Olson. Attended Rockford Central High School. Helen married Howard Wick in December 1938 in Iowa. He predeceased her on Feb. 3, 1984. She was a member of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs.
Survived by her children, Karla (Lynn) Stivers of Byron, Charles Wick of Rockford, Sheri (Pete) VanBriesen of Oregon, and Pete Wick of Rockford; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jan Rubeck; and several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by her son, Jim Wick; grandson, Tim Stivers; great-granddaughter, Brittany Wallace; and brother, Lloyd Olson.
