MOUNT MORRIS – Fans of the Mt. Morris Jamboree, our annual free Summer concert series held on the historic Campus on Friday nights, know that under normal circumstances we would be well under way by now.
We would like to graciously thank all of you fans who've been asking about the program and expressing concern and disappointment for its' absence from our Summer fun. Hearty thanks to all our generous donors as well: local individuals, businesses and free will, for feeding the fire. We couldn't do it without you.
Since the Covid-19 lock down began, we've postponed the opening of our season to July 3 and extended it to Sept. 4. However, at this time it is very clear that public safety guidelines determined by the state will not allow our July shows, if any, to occur. Rest assured that if all of this year's concerts must be cancelled, we will return to the Campus as soon as it is safe to do so.
In the unlikely event that we reach Phase 5 of the Restore Illinois Plan before Fall, the remainder of our 2020 schedule follows.
Aug. 7: Kyle Lacy Band – Rockabilly
Aug. 14: TBA
Aug. 21: Chicago Tribute Anthology - Classic Rock
Aug. 28: TBA
Sept. : Dirty Fishnet Stockings
