Kevin Lee Druien, age 62, of Dixon, passed away on Saturday evening, March 5, 2022 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.

Kevin was born April 6, 1959 in Princeton, Ill., the son of Kenneth S. and Virginia (Wallgren) Druien.  He grew up on a farm on the outskirts of Stillman Valley, the second son of seven boys and one sister.  He attended Stillman Valley Schools.  Kevin was a member of the FFA and held office of Sentinel.  He graduated in 1978.

He met the love of his life, Terry Roeser, in 1993 and they spent the next 28 years together.  Kevin has one daughter, Cheyene Druien.

Kevin was employed at ED Etnyer for 36 years as a welder.  He also worked at Neighbors Nursing Home as a night maintenance man for many years.  Kevin was a Stillman Valley Cardinal, Bears, and Cubs fan.  His greatest passion was farming and the great outdoors.  He loved the farm and it never left him. He liked sitting on the porch remembering all the adventures of growing up in a large, loving family on the farm where he played, worked and learned that the greatest value in life was family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Cindy Druien.

He is survived by Terry Roeser and her sons, Kyle and Ryan; one daughter, Cheyene of Iowa; six brothers, Kenneth L. Druien of Mt. Morris, John Druien of Oregon, Charles (Libby) Druien of Stillman Valley, James (Ashly Bennet) Druien of Byron, Robert (Tammy) Druien of Byron and Ronald (Jennifer) Druien of Byron; one sister, Cindy (Jeff) Champlain of Stillman Valley; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon and also on Friday, March 11 from 9:30-10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 10 a.m. with Pastor Patrick Featherston officiating.  Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
