OREGON — On Aug. 14 at approximately 12:18 a.m. deputies initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of North Illinois Route 251 and Dutch Road for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation deputies arrested Dilxon Usiel Jiminez Roda, 19, of Rockford, for driving with no license. Roda was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was booked, released, and provided a notice to appear.
On Aug. 15 at 8:54 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on South 4th Street at Webster Street in the town of Oregon. As a result deputies arrested Ryan D. Holifield, 34, of Rockford for aggravated driving while license revoked, driving while license revoked, two counts of possession of controlled substance, possession of ammunition with no FOID, and improper container/driver. Holifield was additionally issued citations for a taillight violation and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Holifield was transported to the Ogle County Jail. Due to the Pretrial Fairness Act, Holifield did not meet the criteria to be detained, and was released on a notice to appear with a future court date.
On Aug. 15 at 10:50 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Main Street and North Street in Creston. As a result of the stop, Pedro Roberto Basulto Loera, 41, from Rochelle was arrested for no valid driver's license, no vehicle insurance, and suspended registration. Basulto was given a notice to appear for a later court date.
All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
