Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: March 5-7, 2024

OREGON — On March 5 at approximately 8:43 a.m. Sadiki Raymond, 35, of Rockford turned himself on an outstanding Ogle County failure to appear warrant. Raymond appeared in court and was released. Raymond will return to court on March 27.

On March 6 at approximately 10:29 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Illinois Route 251 and Eddy Road. After investigation, deputies placed Brantel Valentine, 24, of DeKalb, under arrest for driving while license suspended.  Valentine was additionally issued a citation for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.  Valentine was released on a notice to appear at the scene and given a future court date.

On March 6 at approximately 1:35 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 16,000 block of East Illinois Route 72 on a 2012 silver Mitsubishi Lancer.  After an investigation, deputies cited Travel Hester, 23, of Rockford, for driving while license suspended and expired registration.  Hester's vehicle was towed from the scene, and he was given an I-bond for his citations with a future court appearance.

On March 7 at approximately 2 p.m. deputies initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Tower Road and Montague Road. Upon further investigation deputies arrested Megan Hall, 38, of Freeport, for driving while license revoked. Hall was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released on a notice to appear with a future court date given.

On March 7 at approximately 7:50 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 39 near mile marker 106 for obstructed registration and an equipment violation. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Jericka Latiker, 31, of Peoria, for driving while license suspended. Latiker was released on a notice to appear and shall appear in court at a later date. Deputies were assisted by the Illinois State Police.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
