OREGON – The Oregon Park District will kick things off on Friday evening, April 19 with the annual Flashlight Egg Hunt for students in 5th-8th grade.
You are never too hold to enjoy the thrill of hunting for eggs. It's even more fun to do it in the dark. Bring your flashlight and basket to Park West for the Hunt at 8 p.m.
Saturday morning, April 20 we are Eggcited to bring to Oregon our first Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt. This is the perfect Hunt for families looking for a smaller, quieter hunt in a confined space. The Hunt begins at 9:30 a.m. inside the baseball diamond at Park West. Participants of all abilities can hunt for eggs which are empty and can then redeem them for a small Easter surprise. The Easter Bunny will be present for photo opportunities between 9-9:30 a.m. Please RSVP for this Hunt to help up with the planning by April 7 at www.oregonpark.org/Inclusion-program.
Finally, the traditional Egg Hunt for Pre-K through 4th grade will follow with a 10 a.m. sharp start. Hunt areas are divided by grade. Bring your Easter Basket and get ready for the Easter Bunny, eggs, candy, hidden treasures, prizes and lots of fun at Oregon Park West on Saturday, April 20. Please come early to find a place to park, find your hunt area, and to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.
