Steven Lynn White, 61, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 in Oregon. Born January 21, 1961 in Wellsboro, Pa., son to Robert and Donna White, Steve and family moved to Oregon when he was in 6th grade. In Oregon, Steve met the love of his life, Tracie Aurand. They were married on Nov. 30th, 1990. Steve enjoyed gardening, fishing, golf, and just being outdoors.
His children, Branden Johnson and Stephanie White, and his grandchildren, Olyvia, Greyson, and Jackson, were his greatest joys. Steve worked at J.L. Clark in Rockford, Illinois for 20 years as a welder/maintenance worker, a career which evolved into a hobby creating unique and quirky metal art pieces.
His family loved him dearly, and he will always be missed. His fun-loving personality and sense of humor were what people loved most about him.
Survived by wife Tracie White of Oregon; children Branden (Jennifer) Johnson of Homewood, Ill., and Stephanie White and Jeremy Fallin of Rochelle, Illinois; grandchildren Olyvia, Greyson, and Jackson; brothers David (Ella) White, Machesney Park, John (Pamela) White, Mesa, Ariz., William (Ercella) White, Oregon; father Robert White, Belgrade, Mont.; as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Donna White.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
