Taft brunch coming in January

Posted

OREGON – Join the Oregon Park District at Taft Field Campus for a wonderful brunch, learn about the bald eagle and watch them fly over the river.

You will be able to watch the bald eagles soar past the Lorado Taft dining hall windows while you enjoy an all you can eat brunch of biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, fried chicken, cinnamon rolls and other delicious treats.

Learn about bald eagle mating habits, how they raise their young, as well as why they are "bald" during interactive educational brunch. Due to the past popularity of this program, there will be two date options to choose from.

You may attend on Sunday, January 9 or Sunday, January 30.  Both brunches will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The fee for each event is $15/Resident and $18/Non-Resident. All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Children 3 and under are free.

Registration deadline is December 28 for the January 9 brunch and January 19 for the January 30 brunch. Online registration is available at oregonpark.org or by calling 815-732-3101. You may also register in person at Nash Recreation Center located at 304 S. Fifth Street, Oregon.
