At 2:38 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of 5th and Washington Streets involving a 2014 Honda driven by Larry L. Keller, 75, Oregon, and a 2015 Chevrolet driven by Mitchell J. Johnson, 25, Mount Morris. Keller was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.
Oct. 20
At 12:10 p.m., Oregon Police issued Harvey R. Briggs, 75, Mt. Morris, a citation for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of 10th and Webster Streets.
At 1:00 p.m., Oregon Police took one 15-year-old male juvenile, Mt. Morris, into limited custody for the offense of being a runaway. The juvenile was released into a custodian’s care with no further action pending.
At 3:06 p.m., Oregon Police issued Brayden T. Burkhart, 16, Chana, a citation for speeding, 52 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Adams Street.
Oct. 22
At 7:12 p.m., Oregon Police issued Dragutin Andjelic, 49, Rockford, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Pines Road.
At 10:37 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Pamela R. Mills, 33, Mt. Morris, on an outstanding DeKalb County warrant for failure to appear; and charged with illegal possession of cannabis while driving. Mills was also issued a citation for driving while license suspended. Mills was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 1000 block of Pines Road.
Oct. 23
At 8:50 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of S. 10th and Clay Streets involving a 2006 Toyota driven by Peter D. Novak, 45, Oregon, and a 2015 Nissan driven by Abigail R. Duke, 16, Oregon. Novak was issued a citation for failure to yield at an intersection.
Oct. 24
At 10:15 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Tina M. Clement, 41, of Norfolk, VA, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for battery. Clement was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 11:14 p.m., Oregon Police issued Ethan M. Scaman, 17, Forreston, a citation for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred at the intersection of 10th and Jefferson Streets.

At 6:37 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the parking lot of 1050 Pines Road, the Dollar General Store, where a 2010 Toyota driven by Nicole M. Mason, 38, Oregon, struck a parked 2007 Buick owned by Staci N. Hartle, age 31, of Sterling. No citations were issued.
Oct. 27
At 3:47 p.m., a hit and run traffic crash was reported to the Oregon Police where a 2006 Toyota parked in the 600 block of S. 3rd Street and owned by Kimberly A. Rosebrock, 37, Oregon, was struck by an unknown vehicle between the hours of 3:30 p.m., on 10/26/2020 and 7:50 a.m. on 10/27/2020. At 6:30 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Franklin and N. 4th Streets involving a 2013 Chevrolet driven by Amy M. Banister, 41, Oregon, and a 2015 Acura driven by Julia L. Bornhuetter, 59, of DeKalb. No citations were issued.
Oct. 29
At 5:37 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a car vs pole traffic crash in the 400 block of Franklin Street where a 2012 GMC truck was in the middle of the westbound lane, after apparently striking the electric pole within that block. There was no subject in or around the vehicle. At 2:15 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Garrett M. Thomas, 30, Oregon, for leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Thomas was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 12:50 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call at 601 Gale Street, the Kunes Country car dealership, resulting in the arrest of Martavis D. Pierce, 23, Rockford, for criminal trespass to real property. Pierce was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Oct. 31
At 9:52 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Kathleen M. Burright, 59, Oregon, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Burright was also issued a citation for driving without headlights. Burright was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred at the intersection of W. Washington and 5th Streets.
