Byron Police arrested Kelly McKeown, 23 of Rock Falls, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Endangering the Life and Health of a Child. McKeown was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Byron Police investigated an accident with no injuries that occurred at the intersection of Blackhawk and Washington. Involved were Stanley Lemiesz, 65 of Byron, and Madeline James, 21 of Stillman Valley. Lemiesz was issued a citation for Failure to Yield/Stop.

Abigail Szwiec, 20 of Rockford, was issued a citation for No Proof of Insurance.

Medrano, 19 of Pecatonica, was issued a citation for Speeding 48 mph in a 30 mph Zone.

Bethany Kopp, 31 of Mt. Morris, was issued citations for Driving While License is Suspended and No Proof of Insurance.

Byron Police arrested Michael Iozzo, 53 of Byron, for Disorderly Conduct and Solicitation of a Sexual Act. Iozzo was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Byron Police investigated an accident with minor injuries that occurred at the intersection of Union and Blackhawk. Involved were Dylan Joens, 26 of Forreston, and Nevaeh Ballard, 17 of Rock Falls. Joens was issued a citation for Failure to Yield Turning Left.
