James McGhee, 61 of Long Grove, was issued a citation for Speeding 43 mph in a 30 mph Zone.
Joseph McConville, 57 of Mendota, was issued a citation for Speeding 46 mph in a 30 mph Zone.
Feb. 13
Byron Police arrested Cheyenne Owens, 23 of Houston, Texas, for Domestic Battery. Owens was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held without bond.
On 02-13-20, Connie Hermes, age 27 of Mt. Morris, was issued a citation for Disobeying a Traffic Signal.
Kjndrim Rahmani, 25 of Muscatine, Iowa, was issued a citation for Improper Use of Electronic Communication Device.
Feb. 14
Rita Mearns, 63 of Byron, was issued a citation for Speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph Zone.
Feb. 15
Matthew Zumdahl, 36 of Byron, was issued citations for Speeding 44 mph in a 30 mph Zone and No Proof of Insurance.
Marielle Hendricks, 30 of Elgin, was issued a citation for Disobeying a Traffic Signal.
Feb. 16
Byron Police arrested Dustin Warner, 32 of Oregon, for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon, and Violation of the Drug Paraphernalia Act. Warner was also issued a citation for Improper Lane Use. Warner was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Emma Hayes, 57 of Byron, was issued a citation for Speeding 43 mph in a 30 mph Zone.
Feb. 17
Evan Burris, 42 of Byron, was issued a citation for Speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph Zone.
Feb. 18
Shaun Woodard, 34 of Byron, was issued a citation for Driving While License is Suspended.
Feb. 20
Michelle Victum, 47 of Dixon, was issued a citation for Speeding 44 mph in a 30 mph Zone.
Byron Police arrested Ellen McCown, 43 of Sterling, on a warrant. McCown was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. McCown was also issued citations for Speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph Zone and No Proof of Insurance.
Feb. 21
Blake Mclain, age 27 of Freeport, was issued a citation for Expired Registration.
Matthew Farrey, 32 of Byron, was issued citations for Expired Driver’s License, Exp Registration, No Proof of Insurance, and Improper Use of Electronic Communication Device.
Feb. 26
Byron Police investigated an accident with no injures that occurred in the 200 block of N. Union. Involved were Heather Merrick, 50, and Brent Koeller, 21, both of Byron. Merrick was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
Feb. 29
Byron Police arrested Russell Schier, 30 of Byron, for Class 4 Felony Criminal Trespass to Residence and Violation of an Order of Protection. Schier was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
