AMBOY — The Byron High School cross country team saw both its varsity girls and fresh-soph boys earn second-place awards at the Amboy Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Ashley Potter, Gabby Northrup, Elinor McHale and Grace Burnes all earned medalist honors for the varsity girls, while Braden Dietrich, Michael Muzzarelli, Conner Welt and River Wygant all received medals for the fresh-soph boys.
Tim Starwalt medaled in third to lead the varsity boys and Addie Helms won a medal in the girls open race.
