PEORIA — The Polo Aplington boys cross country team placed third in the IESA 1A Sectional at Donovan Park on Saturday, Oct. 12. Abram Garcia won the individual title and set a new course record with a time of 10:59.70 in the 2-mile race.
Cooper Robieson and Asher Weilacher took 18th and 19th with times of 12:52.70 and 13:02.10. Connor Robieson was 24th in 13:22.30.
