OREGON — The Polo Aplington Middle School boys cross country team took second out of five schools during the Route 72 Conference meet at Oregon Park West on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Eighth-grader Abram Garcia won the conference championship with a first-place time of 8:56 in the 1.5-mile race.
Cooper Robieson and Connor Robieson took seventh and ninth individually with respective times of 10:32.2 and 10:40.4. Asher Weilacher and Easton Faivre finished 10th and 11th to round out the top five scoring runners for the Polo team.
