MOUNT MORRIS –Pinecrest Community in Mount Morris were visited by members of the Etnyre family and representatives from E. D. Etnyre & Co. as Etnyre made a $100,000 donation towards Pinecrest’s Capital Campaign.
As the Pinecrest Community enters into their 125th year of serving Ogle County, they are also embarking on a journey of capital improvement. The Pinecrest Community Capital Campaign encompasses many improvements, including funding of the Good Samaritan program, which assists resident in continuing care when their other funds have been depleted or they are in a transition period.
The Etnyre family is one of many families who have benefited from the care provided by Pinecrest Community, with Bella Gibson, June Etnyre, Eloise Etnyre, Ione Brooke, and Harriet Etnyre Driver all living at the facilities at one point in time.
Family member, Susan Davis spoke passionately about how “Pinecrest provided them with excellent care and allowed each to maintain dignity until the end of their life.”
The Etnyre family and E. D. Etnyre & Co. are proud to continue supporting the Pinecrest facilities which has provided so much comfort to their family members and other community families. With this donation and others, Pinecrest Community will continue their improvement efforts to ensure their ability to provide the best care possible to the local community for many years to come.
