At approximately 9:37 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7000 block of W IL Rte 64.  After a brief investigation, Deputies arrested Terrance B. Harris, 18 of Oregon, for No Valid Driver’s License. Harris was taken into custody and released on an individual bond with a return court date. Harris was also cited for speeding 73 mph in a 55 mph speed zone.  ​

Nov. 14

At approximately 11:54 p.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 8000 block of South Illinois Rt 38. After further investigation Brittany Fasulo, 28 of Ashton, was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Fasulo was also cited for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Expired Registration. Fasulo was released on an Individual Bond and will appear in Ogle County Court at a later date. 

At approximately 8 p.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Meridian Rd. After further investigation David Echelbarger, 30 of Rochelle, was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Echelbarger was released on an Individual Bond and will appear in Ogle County Court at a later date. 

At approximately 9:45 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 20000 block of E. IL Rte 64. After investigation, Catrina Hampton, 26 of Chicago was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Passenger Deoveonna Thomas, 21 of Chicago was also arrested for an active warrant out of Chicago. Hampton and Thomas were both transported to the Ogle County Jail where Hampton was also issued citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Illegal Window Tint and Obstructed Driver’s View. Hampton and Thomas were released to Correctional staff and held in lieu of bond. 

At approximately 2:24 a.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 7000 block of N. IL RTE 2. After a brief investigation, Laqjuan C. Lyons, 27 of Milwaukee, Wis., was arrested for No Driver’s License. Lyons was also issued citations for Speeding 15-20 mph above the limit. Lyons was given an I-Bond on scene and released with a court date later next month. 

Nov. 13

At approximately 1:13 a.m., Ogle County Deputies as well as Rochelle and Lynn Scott Rock EMS responded to the 15000 block of E. IL Rte 64 for a one-vehicle accident. After investigation, Deputies determined that Sara Hall, 54 of Rochelle, was traveling west on E. IL Rte 64. Hall then struck a guard rail on the north side of the road, causing major front-end damage to her vehicle. Hall was transported to the Rochelle Community Hospital for suspected minor injuries. Hall was issued citations for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Improper Lane Usage, and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. Hall was given an I-Bond and left with Rochelle medical personnel.

At 4:13 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff Deputies responded to 11,800 West Illinois Route 64 in reference to an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. Upon arrival, deputies located a white Ford Fusion parked partially in the roadway. After an investigation, Joseph D Caldwell, 29, of Polo was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid Illinois driver’s license, illegal parking on the roadway and no valid proof of insurance. Caldwell was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. The vehicle was removed from the location by Pines Towing. 

At 11:57 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Rt. 72 at Rt. 251 for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Robert Woodard, 55 of Rockford, was placed under arrest for no valid driver’s license, and improper cannabis container/driver. Robert was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and no registration light. Robert was released on a signature I-Bond, and will appear in court at a later date.  

At 9:48 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I39 at mile marker 111 on a 2010 Chevy for a registration violation.  After a short investigation Deputies arrested Marquell Ferguson, 24 of Moline, Iowa. for driving while license revoked.  Marquell was also cited for no insurance.  Ferguson was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.  

At approximately 12:03 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff Deputies responded to 11791 North Leaf River Road in reference to a domestic disturbance.  After an investigation Michael Daniel, 21 of Leaf River was arrested for aggravated assault, domestic battery, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a FOID, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number (class 3 felony).  Daniel was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 4:07 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 20,000 block of E. IL Rte. 64.  After investigation, Deputies placed Andrej Obradovic, 19 of Schererville, Indiana under arrest for Driving While License Suspended.  Obradovic was additionally issued a citation for speeding 35 + mph over the speed limit. Obradovic was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.  

Nov. 12

At approximately 9:05 p.m. Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of S. Mulford Rd. After a brief investigation, Kameron Williams, 19 of Chicago, was arrested for No Valid Driver’s License. Williams was also issued citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and an Equipment Violation. Williams was given an I-Bond on scene and released with a court date later next month. 

Nov. 11

At 9 p.m.  Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Creston Casey’s involving an intoxicated male. investigation by Deputies revealed that Arturo Pena, 22 of Rochelle had battered a family member and then entered a vehicle without permission from the vehicle’s owner. Pena was arrested by Deputies for domestic battery and criminal trespass to motor vehicle. Pena was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

Nov 10

At approximately 11:30 a.m., Deputies with the assistance of the Illinois State Police and Rochelle Fire/EMS responded to the 14000 block of E. IL Route 64 for a two vehicle accident involving a 2006 Hyundai Accent and a 2007 Ford Freestyle. Upon conducting an investigation It was learned the Ford driven by Beth Benedetto slowed down to turn into a private address and was rear ended by the Hyundai driven by Linda Keane.  Keane was transported the Swedish American Hospital in Rockford for injuries. Keane was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. 

At 11:08 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Kishwaukee Road and Meridian Road.  After an investigation it was found that a maroon Chevrolet HHR, driven by Ashley E. Kramer, 32 of Rockford, was northbound on Kishwaukee Road when the vehicle suffered a mechanical failure.  The vehicle exited the roadway and struck a culvert at that location.  Kramer was transported to Swedish American Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.  The passenger in the vehicle, Brittany D. Vyas, 27 of Rockford, refused medical treatment at the scene.  The vehicle was removed from the scene by Nielsen’s Towing and no citations were issued.

Nov. 9

At 5:09 p.m,. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies and Oregon Fire and EMS responded to the area of 900 N. River Rd. for the report of a vehicle that left the roadway and entered the Rock River. After an investigation, it was determined Daniel Boyden, 30 of Oregon, was traveling southbound on River Rd. in his Volkswagen Jetta, when he lost control of his vehicle. Boyden was able to escape the vehicle, and swim back to shore. Boyden was transported to KSB Hospital by Oregon EMS for precaution. At KSB Hospital, Boyden was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Boyden was released on a signature I-Bond. Boyden was also issued citations for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to prevent an accident, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Nov. 8

At approximately 12:02 a.m., Ogle County deputies and Rochelle Fire responded to a one vehicle accident in the 13,000 block of east Bethel Road. Investigation by deputies revealed that, Tori Sanders, 25 of Rochelle, was traveling eastbound when her vehicle left the roadway and subsequently overturned in the south ditch. Sanders was transported to a local hospital for non life threatening injuries. Sanders was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. 

At approximately 1 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 16,000 Block of E. IL Rte. 72.  After investigation, Deputies issued Lucinda Perez, 31 of Davis Junction a citation for Driving While License Revoked. Perez was given an I-Bond at the scene with a future court date.
