Nov. 24
Deputies arrested Brandon Eash, 37 of Rockford, for driving while license revoked without a BAID system. Eash was arrested by Deputies on I-39 near Monroe Center after being stopped for speeding. Eash was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 23
At approximately 10:39 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of E. Hitt Street in Mt. Morris.  After investigation, Deputies placed Erik Rivera-Alvarado, 20 of Rockford under arrest for No Valid IL Driver’s License.  Rivera-Alvarado was additionally issued a citation for an Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.  Rivera-Alvarado was released on an I-Bond at the scene and given a future court date.   

At 11:20 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of North Illinois Route 251 and East Mowers Road. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Keith L. Sanders, 34 years old, of Rockford for Improper Container of Cannabis/Driver and Unlawful use of Cannabis/Driver. Keith was released on I-Bond.

At approximately 10:26 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Mulford Rd and E. Mowers Rd. After investigation, Deputies arrested Jordan Johnson, 26 of Rockford, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Passenger Jerry Robinson Jr., 33 of Rockford was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Crack/Cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Johnson was issued citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Expired Registration, Expired Driver’s License, Open Container/Alcohol and an equipment violation. Both Johnson and Robinson Jr. were transported to the Ogle County Jail, where they were released to Correctional Staff and held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 22
At approximately 7:16 a.m. Ogle County deputies along with Oregon Fire and EMS responded to the intersection of Illinois Route 2 and Mud Creek Road in reference to a two vehicle accident.  After an investigation it was learned that the driver of the box truck, Ronnette Newson age, 39 of Chicago turned westbound onto Mud Creek Road, at which time her vehicle overturned and struck a vehicle which was stopped at the stop sign waiting to turn northbound on IL Route 2.  Newson was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.  Newson was transported to KSB Hospital by Oregon EMS for minor injuries.  Maggio’s Towing removed the vehicle from the location.

At 6:55 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of south Skare Rd. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Zackery A. Letcher, 26 years old, of Dixon for Possession of Cannabis 500 to 2000 grams. Zackery was transported to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 21
At approximately 11:49 a.m. Ogle County Deputies and Stillman Fire Department/EMS  responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Kishwaukee Rd. and Hales Corner Rd. involving a grey Toyota driven by Brogan Griffith, 19  of Byron  and black Cadillac driven by  Angela Graham, 54 of Chicago.  As a result of the crash, Graham  was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.  After a brief investigation, Griffith was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kanijah Young, 21 of Rockford for no valid driver’s license and an Stephenson County warrant. Young was arrested by Deputies on I-39 near Rte. 64 after being stopped for speeding. Young was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.

At approximately 8:29 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 11,000 block of W IL Rte 72.  After a brief investigation, Deputies arrested Jarrell J. Williamson, 18 of Freeport, for No Driver’s License. Williamson was taken into custody without incident and released on an individual bond.  Williamson was also cited for Improper Lighting /One Headlight.


Nov. 20
At approximately 11:19 p.m., Deputies responded to a driving complaint at E IL Rte 64 and Blackhawk Drive.  Deputies located a red Ford truck and performed a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon further investigation the driver, Evan Janco, 23 of Oregon, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Janco was transported to the Ogle County Jail and was also cited for Improper Lane Usage.

Nov. 19
At approximately 8:26 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of west Third Street in Leaf River. After brief investigation, Deputies arrested Matthew Carlson, 43 of Rockford, for driving while license revoked. Carlson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Carlson was also cited for speeding.    
Nov. 18
At approximately 7:21 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 15000 block of E. IL Rte 64. After brief investigation, Deputies arrested Acquianetta​ James, 30 of Rockford, for driving while license suspended. James was also issued citations for improper lighting/one head light and illegal window tint. James was given an I-bond with a return court date later next month and released on scene. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of N. Mulford Rd and E. Mowers Rd. After brief investigation, Deputies arrested Melinda Heaton, 36 of Loves Park, for driving while license suspended. Heaton was also issued citations for improper lighting/one head light and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Heaton was given an I-bond with a return court date later next month and released on scene. 


Nov. 15
Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Keith Sanders, 31 of Bloomington, for driving without a valid driver’s license. Sanders was arrested on I-39 near Rte 64 after being stopped for speeding 103 mph in a 70 mph speed zone. Sanders was released on a I-bond and will appear in Ogle County court at a later date.

At 1:33 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 block of Mulford road.  After a short investigation Deputies arrested Dennis Ehmen, 62 of Monroe Center for no valid driver’s license. Ehmen was released on an I-bond and will appear in court at a later date.
