Ogle County Sheriff 12-9-19

At approximately 5:50 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 15000 block of W. White Oak Rd. for an equipment violation. After a brief investigation, Deputies arrested Joshua C. Marsack, 41, of Fenton, for Obstructing Identification and a valid DuPage Co. Warrant. Marsack was then transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is held in lieu of bond.

Dec. 1

At 10:58 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the report of a car in the ditch on Deer path Road at Razorville Road. Deputies located the vehicle in the 3000 block of North Blackhawk Road in east ditch on its top. The driver, Aaron Harper, 26 of Byron, was checked by ambulance and signed a refusal form. After an investigation, Harper was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. Harper was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 30

At 1:17 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 7000 block of North Illinois Rte 2, Deputies arrested Caly Jiles, 37 of Mount Morris, and Jason Armould, 50 of Rockford for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both subjects were transported to the Ogle County Jail where they were held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 1:45 a.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 8000 block of North Barker Road. After further investigation Willem Earlywine, 33 of Davenport, Iowa, was placed under arrest for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. Earlywine was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 2:07 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies, along with the Polo Fire Department and Polo EMS were dispatched to a single vehicle accident in the 17000 blk of West Illinois Route 64.  After an investigation it was learned that Cynthia R Farmer, 63 of Savanna had lost control of her vehicle and entered the south side ditch.  The vehicle came to rest after striking a tree. Farmer was transported to FHN hospital in Freeport for non life threatening injuries. Farmer also received a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.   Dyers towing removed the vehicle from the location.

Nov. 29

At approximately 5:49 p.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 7000 block of South Freeport Road. After further investigation, Heather Stoikes of Freeport, was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Stoikes was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 28

At approximately 5:30 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident that occurred in the 4000 block of S Rte 26 in Polo. After an investigation Jordan M. Asbury, 21 of Sterling, IL. was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Asbury was southbound on Rte. 26 and ran into another vehicle that was also southbound. No injuries requiring medical transport were reported by anyone involved in this incident. Asbury was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he is held in lieu of bond. Asbury has a bond of $3,000/10%. Asbury posted bond and will appear in court on 1/24/19 at 9:00am.

Nov. 27

At 11:38 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 3rd and Illinois streets in Oregon for a traffic lane violation. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Tonya Carlson, 40, of Oregon for Driving While License Suspended, Driving Under the Influence, Aggravated DUI, along with a citation for improper lane use and improper turn signal. Carlson was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

The following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Enrique Vasquez, 27 of Rochelle, for Failure to Appear. Vasquez has a bond of $622 full cash. Vasquez posted bond and has no return court date.

Amber Keener, 35 of Dixon, for Failure to Appear. Keener has a bond of $3,455 full cash. Keener posted bond and has no return court date.

Jay Moore, 45 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Moore has a bond of $1,529 full cash. Moore appeared in court on 11/27/19 and was given a recognize bond and will return to court on 12/30/19 at 9 a.m.

Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies arrested David Strebing for Retail Theft. Strebing was transported to the Ogle County Jail. Strebing had a bond of $5,000/10 percent. Strebing appeared in court on 11/27/19 and was given a recognize bond. Sterbing has a return court date of 12/09/19 ay 11:15 a.m.

At approximately 9:16 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Mulford and Edson Road. After investigation, Deputies place Bonnie Demaio, 45 of Rockford under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Demaio was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
