Feb. 25
The following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:
Rhonda Cermak, 40, of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Cermak has a bond of $747 and will go to court on 02/26/19 at 1 p.m. Cermak will remain in the Ogle County Jail.
Jerry Heinze, 47, of Rockford for Failure to Appear. Heinze had a bond of $3453. Heinze recieved a recog bond of $1,000 and will return to court on 03/25/19 at 9 a.m.
Ashley Schrader, 26, of Shannon for Failure to Appear. Schrader had a bond of $471. Schrader did post the $471 bond and will not need to return for court.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., Ogle County Deputies along with Lynn Scott Rock EMS responded to the 17000 block of E Big Mound Road for the report of a single vehicle crash. Where the occupant was unresponsive but breathing. After conducting a investigation, David A Miller, 45 of Lindenwood was arrested for Aggravated D.U.I. and Aggravated Driving While License Revoked. Miller was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Miller was also cited for Improper Lane Usage, Driving on the Shoulder, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
At approximately 7:28 p.m., Ogle County Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 17000 block of West Illinois Rt. 64. After further investigation Terry Hermecz, 29, of Mt. Carroll was placed under arrest for Driving While License Revoked. Hermecz was also cited for operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Hermecz was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Feb. 20
At 7:55 a.m., the Olge County Sheriff’s office, Monroe Center fire department and the Linscott Rock ambulance responded to a one vehicle roll-over accident with injuries at MM109 I-39 southbound. A green Toyota Avalon was southbound on I-39 when the vehicle lost control due to the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle left the west side of the roadway striking a snowbank and rolling over in the ditch. The vehicle came to a stop on all four wheels. The driver Faris Alyami, 22, of Rockford refused medical treatment. Passenger Arwa Aoabyah, 22, of Rockford was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Rockford by Linscott Rock Ambulance with a minor wrist injury. No citations issued.
The following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Glenn Zekoff, 20 of Genoa, for Failure to Appear. Zekoff has a bond of $1,008 full cash and will appear in court on 02/21/19 at 1 p.m.
Jessie Thorton, 28 of Dekalb, for Failure to Appear. Thorton has a bond of $4,489 full cash and will appear in court on 02/21/19 at 1 p.m.
James Ball, 57 of Dixon, for Failure to Appear. Ball has a bond of $1,792.98 full cash and will appear in court on 02/21/19 at 1 p.m.
Feb. 19
Austin Reeverts, 26 of Rockford, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to appear. Reeverts has a bond of $3,625 full cash and will appear in court on 02/22/19 at 9 a.m.
At approximately 9:50 p.m., Deputies responded to a vehicle in the 3000 block of South Illinois Rt. 2 which had driven onto the frozen Rock River. After further investigation Christopher Rowe, 26 of Rockford, was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Reckless Driving, and Obstructing a Peace Officer. Rowe was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Ogle County Deputies responded to 4914 west Oregon Trail road in reference to a domestic problem. After an investigation, James A Hilliard, 44 of Mt Morris, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Interference With the Reporting Of Domestic Violence. Hilliard was transported to the Ogle County jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Feb. 16
At approximately 9 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies and Rochelle EMS responded to a car in the ditch on Rolling Green Lane near Flagg Road in rural Rochelle which was occupied by an unresponsive female driver. Alice Sanders, 58 of Rochelle, was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital where she was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Alice was issued an I-bond and a return court date due to Medical treatment.
Glory Johnson,42, was arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant. Johnson has a bond of $389 and will go to court on 02/19/19 at 1 p.m.
Feb. 14
Epifanio Hernandez, 46 of Dekalb, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Hernandez went to court and was released on a $1,000 Recognizance bond and a return court date of 03/25/19 at 9 a.m.
Feb. 13
Melvin Amaya-Reyes, 29 of Rochelle, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Amaya-Reyes posted the $556 full cash bond and was released with no further court dates.
