May 20

At approximately 6:45 p.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop at Washington Street and River Road.  Upon further investigation, Deputies arrested Devin Bailey, 36 from Polo, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and No Valid Driver's License.  Bailey was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was later released on an Individual Bond.

May 16

At approximately 8:41 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 4,000 block of S. Chana Road.  After investigation Deputies issued Kenneth Ankney, 56 of Bloomington, a citation for Driving While License Revoked. Ankney was released on an I-Bond at the scene.   

At approximately 12:58 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 3,000 block of W. IL Rte. 64 in reference to a driving complaint where the Mt. Morris Police had made contact with the vehicle and driver. After investigation, Deputies placed Arthur Harris Jr., 57 of Rockford under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While License Revoked.  Harris was additionally issued a citation for Improper Lane Usage.  Harris was later released on an I-Bond to appear in court at a later date. 

At approximately 1:33 a.m., deputies were dispatched to 4497 W Otter Road in reference to a 911 hang up. Upon further investigation it was determined the hang up was accidental, however deputies discovered a large underage drinking party at the location. Twenty-nine citations were issued to individuals for consuming alcohol under the age of 21. The individuals were released on I-Bonds and given future court dates. 

May 15

At 10:54 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of W. IL Rte 72 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle for a traffic violation. After an investigation, John Flynn, 49 of Milledgeville, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Flynn was transported to the Ogle County Jail and released on a $3,000 I-Bond.

May 12

At approximately 5:05 p.m., Deputies responded to a one vehicle hit and run accident that occurred near the intersection of North Junction Rd and East Scott Rd. After a brief investigation, Deputies arrested Jennifer Nash, 46 of Holcomb, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Nash was also issued citations for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Failure to Report a Motor Vehicle Accident, Improper Lane Usage and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. No injuries were sustained as a result from the crash. Nash was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released on an I-bond.

May 9

Teodoro Jimenez, 20, of Freeport was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop. Jimenez was given a $1,000 Recognizance bond and a return court date of 06-03-2020 at 9 a.m.

May 5

Gaige Lozdoski, 22, of Mt. Morris was arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant. Lozdoski had a bond of $732 and was able to post $732 bond.  

At 4:48 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Flagg Rd and Skare Rd for an injury accident. Upon arrival, it was determined that William Bishop, 52 of Stillman Valley, failed to yield at the intersection and was struck broadside by a car driven by Adrian Daughtery, 26 of Dixon. Both drivers and the passenger of Bishop's car, Marcia Kelly, 58 of Stillman Valley, were taken by Rochelle Ambulance to the Rochelle Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Bishop was cited for failing to yield at a stop intersection.

May 4

At approximately 5:45 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the 11,000 block of N.Illinois Rte. 26. After an investigation it was determined that a silver Chevrolet Venture minivan being driven by Derek V. Driver, 22, of Freeport, was northbound on Route 26. Driver lost control of the vehicle when he over corrected the vehicle on the gravel shoulder. The vehicle crossed the roadway and rolled over one time coming to rest back on its wheels. The two passengers in the vehicle were transported to Freeport Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the accident. Driver refused medical attention at the scene. driver was issued citations for driving without a license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He also had outstanding warrants issued by Ogle County. Driver is due to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

May 3

At 12:29 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle/motorist assist in the area of 5000 E. McCormick Road. After a brief investigation, it was determined that Emily Flentge, 25 of Rockford, had driven her vehicle off the roadway and struck a fence post. Flentge was not injured in the crash and refused medical treatment. Flentge was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. Flentge was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released on a $3,000 I-Bond.

May 2

At 3:58 p.m., following a traffic stop at 1st Avenue and Cherry Street in Forreston,  Deputies arrested Jason Erickson, 35 of Rockford for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Erickson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released on a $3,000 I-Bond with a return court date of 7-29-20 at 9 a.m.

At 12:22 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 11,000 block of E. Route 72.  After an investigation, Deputies cited Oscar Regalado, 26 of Stillman Valley for Driving While License Revoked.  Oscar was given an I-bond for his citation and released from the scene.   

April 28

At approximately 6:15 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address in Rochelle in reference to a Violation of an Order of Protection. After a brief investigation, Craig M. Larson Jr., 23 of Rochelle, was arrested for Violation of an Order of Protection. Larson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to the Correctional Staff and held in lieu of bond.

April 22

Keith Mullen, 37 of Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Mullen posted the $100,000/10% bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Mullen will appear in court on 06/05/20 at 9:00 a.m.

April 9

At approximately 8 a.m., Deputies responded to a theft at 1382 N. IL Rte. 2.  After investigation Deputies placed Jesse Maberry, 76 of Oregon, under arrest for Theft Under $500. Maberry was released on an I-Bond and will appear in court at a later date.

At approximately 2:02 p.m., Deputies responded to and address on East Valley View Drive, in reference to a citizen complaint. After a brief investigation Deputies placed Taunya Hollis-Jared, 48 of Rockford, under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, 2 outstanding Ogle County Traffic Warrants, and Theft under $500 for a separate incident which occurred on 2/2/2020 at the same residence. Hollis-Jared was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. 

April 6

At approximately 12:30 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Illinois Rte. 64 and Maple Grove Road. This was in response to a check welfare request by a passing motorist reporting a vehicle parked at that location with front end damage and a female in the driver’s seat. Upon arrival and after an investigation the driver of the vehicle, Destiny R. Whipkey, 24, of Davis Junction, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Whipkey was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she posted bond on her charges and was released. Whipkey is due to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

April 5

Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies investigated a Violation of an Order of Protection. Pursuant to the investigation Deputies arrested Jeremy Guentert, 38 of Byron, for Violation of an Order of Protection. Guentert was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
