July 24

At approximately 6 a.m., Ogle County deputies responded to the 14,000 block of W. Goose Hollow road in Polo. This was in reference to a report of a domestic issue occurring at that location. After an investigation, Shane A. Imel, 27, of Polo, was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property and Disorderly Conduct. Imel was transported to the Ogle COunty Jail where he is being held in lieu of bond.

July 23

At approximately 2 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies were patrolling the area of W. IL Route 64 traveling eastbound when they observed a vehicle traveling westbound towards their location.  As the vehicle passed, the vehicle had an inoperable rear registration plate light, in that the registration was not visible within 50 ft.  Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of W IL Route 64 and Everett St in Mount Morris. After investigation, Brody Stone, 19 of Oregon, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Consumption of Alcohol as a Minor. Stone was also issued citations for An Inoperable Rear Registration Light and Improper Display of Registration.  Stone was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to Correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.

July 22

At 4:14 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of South Illinois Rte. 2 for a registartion violation. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Lacy E. Debrower, 35, of Altoona, IA for driving while license revoked. Debrower was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Alvaro Mireles, 56, of Rochelle was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mireles had a bond of $3000/10 percent. Mireles did post the $3000/10 percent and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Mireles will return for court on 08/16/19 at 1 p.m.

At 4:14 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of South Illinois Rte. 2 for a registration violation.  After a short investigation Deputies arrested Lacy E Debrower, 35 of Altoona IA for driving while license Revoked. Debrower was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. 

July 21

At approximately 1:54 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident without injuries in the 7000 block of N. IL Rte 251. After further investigation Shawn Skinner, age 24, of Sterling was arrested for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Shawn was also issued citations for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Shawn was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.  

July 20

At approximately 10:30 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 8000 block E. Flagg Rd for a registration violation. After a brief investigation Deputies arrested Alejandro Toledo, 27, of Rochelle for Driving with an Expired Driver’s License, more than one year.

July 19

At approximately 2:50 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 10000 block of North Il. Rte 2, for a registration violation. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Jerry L. Coffee Jr., 36, of Rockford for Driving while License Suspended. Jerry was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

July 18

At approximately 3:27 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Walnut st. and Main st. in Stillman Valley. After investigation Megan Tracy, 37, of Davis Junction was arrested for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Tracy was also issued a citation for an Inoperable Rear Registration Light. Tracy was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was realsed to Correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 10:39 p.m. Ogle County Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 6000 block of West Oregon Trail Rd. After further investigation Jesse Russell, 23 of Rockfalls was placed under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. Russell was also cited for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Russell was transported to the Ogle County jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

July 17

At 9:35 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted an investigation at a residence in the Village of Davis Junction.  The suspect of the investigation, Jemma J. Atterbury, 32, of Davis Junction, fled from the scene in a vehicle to avoid arrest.  Sheriff’s Deputies pursued Atterbury for approximately 2 miles; before Atterbury stopped her vehicle. Atterbury was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Fleeing to Elude a Peace Officer, Reckless Driving, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and several traffic violations. Atterbury was confined at the Ogle County Jail awaiting a court appearance. 

At approximately 6:21p.m. Deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Pecationica Rd and Montague Rd. After further investigation Jose Claudio-Ocampo, 39, of Rockford was placed under arrest for Driving while License Revoked. Claudio was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

July 16

At 9:09 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to 15184 West Illinois Route 72 in reference to a disturbance. While Deputies were en route a female offender left the area. On 07/17/19 at approximately 10:47 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies located the offender from the disturbance in the 100 blk of East Mason Street in Polo. After an investigation Jessica E Myers, 30 of Polo was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Myers was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
