Nov. 19

At 8:14 p.m., Oregon Police issued Clay W. Jungerman, 21, Dixon, a citation for speeding, 45 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Adams Street.

At 9:16 p.m., Oregon Police issued Christopher J. Shank, 52, Byron, a citation for disobeying a stop sign. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street.

 

Nov. 20

At 3:04 p.m., Oregon Police issued Thomas D. Leigh, 29, Oregon, a citation for driving while license suspended. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street.

 

Nov. 21

At 11:25 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Emily M. Quaco, 21, Dixon, for driving while license suspended. Quaco was also issued citations for defective windshield, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle when registration suspended for non-insurance. Quaco was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 200 block of S. 4th Street.

At 3:42 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Joshua A. Nance, 36, Rochelle, on an outstanding Boone County warrant for aggravated battery for leaving the scene. Nance was transported to the Ogle County jail.

 

Nov. 22

At 1:22 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a car vs pedestrian traffic crash in the 1500 block of W. Washington involving a pedestrian, Dustin D. Cole, 34, Monroe Center, who was struck by a 2011 Ford driven by Joseph T. Ring, 24, Oregon. No citations were issued.

 

Nov. 24

At approximately 5:25 p.m., Oregon Police were advised of a residential burglary that had just occurred in the 200 block of W. Washington Street. At approximately 9:50 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Joseph M. Stewart, 30, Oregon, for residential burglary. Stewart was transported to the Ogle County jail.

 

Nov. 25

At 8:04 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of North 6th and Monroe Streets involving a 2014 Chevrolet driven by Melinda M. Egli, 19, Oregon, and a 2015 Chevrolet driven by Tonya M. Lauderdale, age 53, Oregon. Egli was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

26 parking tickets and 8 verbal/written warnings were issued from 11/19/18 through 11/25/18.
