April 6

At 11 p.m., Oregon Police issued Donald J. Bigham, 63, a citation for smoking in public places. This violation occurred at the Oregon Laundromat, 210 S. 4th Street.

 

April 8

At 12:43 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 400 block of N. 3rd Street, resulting in the arrest of Michelle M. Hose, 39, Oregon for domestic battery and resisting a peace officer. Hose was transported to the Ogle County jail.

April 9

At 6:19 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 200 block of N. 3rd Street involving a 2017 Toyota driven by Anna J. Withers, 15, Oregon, and a parked 2004 Chrysler belonging to Alyssa M. Beauchem, 28, Oregon. No citations were issued.

April 12

At 1:48 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Samantha R. Norup, 25, Byron, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for resisting a peace officer. Norup was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 6:39 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a car vs building traffic crash just west of the intersection of 2nd and W. Washington Streets where a 2007 Chevrolet driven by Jeffery A. Reber, 37, Oregon, struck the corner of the building located at 201 W. Washington Street. Reber was transported to KSB Hospital and then issued citations for driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and driving under the influence of alcohol with blood alcohol content greater than .08%.

At 8:01 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jo Allen M. Taylor, 46, Dixon, a citation for speeding, 54mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 400 block of N. 4th Street.
