At 3:56 p.m., Oregon Police issued Edward L. Mallek, 31, of Evansville, WI, a citation for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 300 block of N. 4th Street.
March 16
At 8:22 p.m., Oregon Police issued Nayell F. Rodriguez, 19, Rock Falls, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of Hill and 4th Streets.
At 10:02 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a fight in progress call at 306 Franklin Street, the Franklin Street Pub, resulting in the arrest of Justin S. Regan, 27, of Madison, WI, and Tiffanie M. Yocum, age 34, of Granville, IL, for battery. Both Regan and Yocum were transported to the Ogle County jail.
March 17
At 12:29 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Patrick A. McDowell, 39, Oregon, for attempted disorderly conduct. McDowell was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 800 block of S. 4th Street.
March 18
At 8:04 p.m., Oregon Police issued James A. Porter, 36, Oregon, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of Adams and 4th Streets.
At 10:47 p.m., Oregon Police issued Nathan S. Hamrick, 21, Dixon, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
March 19
At 9:41 p.m., Oregon Police issued Cory J. Schroeder, 30, Mt. Morris, a citation for unlawful window tint. This violation occurred in the 500 block of W. Washington Street.
March 20
At 2:05 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Savannah C. Wetzell, 23, Mt. Morris, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Wetzell was also issued state citations for disobeying a traffic control device and failure to signal, as well as a civil citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Wetzell was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 300 block of Madison Street.
At 4:26 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a car vs deer traffic crash in the 800 block of N. IL Route 2 involving a 2005 Volkswagen belonging to Jennifer A. Alaniz, 41, Oregon. No citations were issued.
March 22
At 7:39 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Ryan A. Fenton, 31, Oregon, for child endangerment, reckless driving, driving while license revoked, and fleeing to elude. Fenton was also issued citations for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and a civil citation for possession of cannabis under ten grams. Fenton was transported to the Ogle County jail. Following a follow-up investigation, Fenton was also charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. These violations occurred in the 400 block of N. 4th Street.
March 23
At 5:23 p.m., Oregon Police are investigating a traffic crash that took place in the S. 3rd Street municipal parking lot where at some point prior to 4:35 p.m., an unknown vehicle struck a 2014 Buick belonging to Pamela Pottorff, 51, Mt. At 8:57 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a hit and run where a vehicle struck a dumpster belonging to Moring Disposal of Forreston in the 300 block of N. 5th Street resulting in the arrest of Garrett M. Thomas, 28, Oregon, for driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%. Thomas was also issued citations for improper lane usage and failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle or other property. Thomas was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 500 block of N. 5th Street.
March 24
At 1:39 p.m., Oregon Police issued a citation to Jack T. Weres, 55, of Palatine, for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of 10th and Webster Streets.
At 1:51 p.m., Oregon Police issued a citation to James E. Hovis, 74, DeKalb, for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street.
At 8:41 p.m., Oregon Police issued Andre L. Long, 25, Dixon, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred at the intersection of 8th St. and Pines Road.

At 1:30 p.m., Oregon Police took a report of a traffic crash in the 100 block of Moring Court that had occurred at some point this day between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., where an unknown vehicle struck a parked 2018 Jeep belonging to Raymond R.
