At 10:53 p.m., Oregon Police issued Cade A. Stephenitch, 17, Dixon, a citation for speeding, 57 mph in a 40 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 300 block of E. Washington Street.

At 2:08 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jose G. Correa, 17, of West Chicago, IL, citations for speeding, 60mph in a 45mph zone, violating the graduated driver provisions by having more than one passenger in the vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 100 block of E. Washington Street.
At 4:17 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of 4th and Washington Streets involving a 2008 Chevrolet driven by Anjelica L. Brockman, 25, Mt. Morris, and a 2018 Honda driven by Joseph W. Simpson, age 33, Lombard, IL. Brockman was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
May 24
At 1:58 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 500 block of S. 2nd Street resulting in the arrest of Tracy L. Altherr, 23, Oregon, for domestic battery, endangering the life or health of a child, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving. Altherr was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 500 block of S. 2nd Street.

At 5:30 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a hit and run in the 1800 block of W. Washington Street resulting in the arrest of Ryan C. L. Miller, 30, Polo, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge and an outstanding Whiteside County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge. Carlson W. Jones, 30, Oregon, was also issued traffic citations for failure to report an accident and driving while license revoked. Jones was also issued a city citation for violating the unlawful dumping ordinance for the city of Oregon.
May 29
At 9:59 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Lauryn O. Johnson, 21, of Moline, IL, on an outstanding St. Clair County warrant for retail theft. Johnson was also charged with improper container for cannabis as a driver and issued citations for speeding, 45mph in a 30mph zone, use of a cell phone while driving, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Johnson was transported to the Ogle County jail.
May 31
At 6:04 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a one-car traffic crash in the Casey’s General Store lot, located at 901 W. Washington Street involving a 2014 Buick driven by Abigail L. Virgil, 16, Oregon. No citations were issued.

At 9:47 p.m., Oregon Police issued Connie F. Hermes, 27, Mt. Morris, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 1000 block of W. Washington Street.

At 11:53 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of S. 4th Street resulting in the arrest of Alyssa N. Ghibellini, 26, Oregon, for battery, aggravated battery, resisting a peace officer, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Ghibellini was transported to the Ogle County jail.
