At 4:15 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Nicholas Kasten, 39, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for no valid driver’s license. Kasten was transported to the Ogle County jail.
August 31, 2021:
At 10:55 a.m., Oregon Police issued Christine M. McCaslin, 61, Oregon, a city citation for violating the inoperable motor vehicle ordinance. Joshua A. MCCaslin, 39, Oregon, was also issued a city citation for violating the inoperable motor vehicle ordinance. These violations occurred in the 100 block of N. Etnyre Avenue.
At 6:05 p.m., Oregon Police issued Amber Coffey, 35, Byron, a citation for speeding, 43 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.
Sept. 1
At 2:52 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a citizen complaint call at Casey’s General Store located at 901 W Washington Street resulting in the arrest of Katie J. Ruetten, 34, Dixon, for two outstanding warrants, one out of Lee County for failure to appear, and one out of Whiteside County for failure to appear on a possession of methamphetamine charge. Ruetten was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Sept. 3
At 7:29 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Mitchell J. Manka, 20, Mt. Morris, for no valid driver’s license. Manka was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 500 block of W. Washington Street.
At 8:20 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of IL Route 64 and Daysville Road involving a 2005 GMC driven by Daniel S. Rauch, 52, Rockford, and a 2015 Ford driven by Cecilia M. Zimmerman, 77, Oregon. Rauch was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Sept. 4
At 1:04 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Jacob B. Cunningham, 24, Mt. Morris, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Cunningham was also issued citations for disobeying a stop sign and driving under the influence of alcohol with blood alcohol content greater than .08%. Cunningham was transported to the Ogle County Jail. These violations occurred in the 400 block of Madison Street.
At 8:48 p.m., Oregon Police issued Logan T. Green, 16, Byron, a citation for no valid driver’s license. This violation occurred in the 400 block of W. Washington Street.
Sept. 5
At 2:03 p.m., Oregon Police issued Justin D. Street, 21, Dixon, a citation for possessing an improper container of cannabis as a driver. This violation occurred in the 200 block of Jones Terrace.

Sept. 6
At 2:26 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of N. 4th Street resulting in the arrest of Christopher A. Watts, 32, Oregon, for domestic battery. Watts was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Sept. 7
At 6:04 p.m., Oregon Police issued Janelle J. Tanaglia, 25, Oregon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.
Sept. 8
At 12:31 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Randi M. Suter, 33, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Suter was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 4:29 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a theft call at Oregon Super Value located in the 200 block of N. 4th Street, resulting in the arrest of Diane L. Harrod, 53, Byron, for retail theft. Harrod was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Sept. 9
At 3:05 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the Oregon High School parking lot located at 210 S. 10th Street involving a 2012 Jeep driven by Shyanne A. Hanson, 27, Mt. Morris, and a 2005 Ford driven by Mya J. Hernandez, 17, Mt. Morris. No citations were issued.
At 8:24 p.m., Oregon Police issued Kimberly M. Schweizer, 39, Oregon, a citation for possessing an improper container of cannabis as a driver. This violation occurred in the 300 block of W. Washington Street.
Sept. 10
At 8:51 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a hit and run traffic crash that occurred in the 1300 block of Koontz Place where an unknown vehicle struck a parked 2018 Volkswagen belonging to Kaitlyn N. Deraitus, 28, Oregon. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident, please contact the Oregon Police Department at 815-732-2162.
Sept. 11
At 4:10 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a theft call at Sam’s Tobacco Shop located in the 200 block of W. Washington Street, resulting in the arrest of Hayli M. Stier, age 30, Oregon, for theft less than $500. Stier was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 10:30 p.m., Oregon Police issued Raheem J.D. Martin, 28, Dixon, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
Sept. 12
At 12:50 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Timothy W. Tate, 41, Dixon, for possessing an improper container of cannabis as a driver. Tate was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 2500 block of South IL Route 2.

Sept. 13
At 9:01 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 500 block of Jefferson Street involving a 2002 Buick driven by Rita I. Francis-Mecum, 44, of Walnut, IL, and a 2004 Ford driven by Mark A. Vice, Sr., 59, Oregon. Francis-Mecum was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
At 10:35 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Diamond Alize CJ Wade, 19, Rockford, for improper container of cannabis as a driver. Wade was transported to the Ogle County jail. A female passenger, 16, Rockford, was issued a citation for illegal transportation of alcohol as a passenger. These violations occurred in the 400 block of Jefferson Street.

At 10:44 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Nimrod D. Hilliard, age 35, Rockford, for driving while license suspended. Hilliard was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 4th Street.
Sept. 15
At 2:33 p.m., Oregon Police issued Keegan S. Diehl, 17, Oregon, a citation for passing a school bus while loading and unloading. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. 2nd Street.
At 6:08 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of S. 4th and Madison Streets involving a 2017 Cadillac driven by Diane L. Magne, 72, Dixon, and a 2012 Chevrolet driven by Katelyn R. Bowers, age 16, Oregon. Magne was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Sept. 16
At 7:37 p.m., Oregon Police issued James R. Henderson, 21, Oregon, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 200 block of E. Washington Street.
At 9:21 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Jerime J. Kuhlemier, 40, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for aggravated battery and a sentencing order for domestic battery. Kuhlemier was charged with reckless driving, felony driving while license revoked, and felony aggravated fleeing to elude. Kuhlemier was also issued citations for speeding, 110 mph in a 55 mph zone, operating a motorcycle with an expired registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Kuhlemier was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of N. River Road.
Sept. 17
At 10:30 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Breann R. Daugherty, 32, Oregon, for possessing an improper container of cannabis as a driver. Daugherty was transported to the Ogle County jail. This violation occurred in the 700 block of E. Washington Street.
