OREGON – Charles N. Currier, Jr., age 85, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at Generations at Neighbor’s in Byron.

He was born March 25, 1935 in North Tarrytown, New York the son of Charles N. and Blanche (Richardson) Currier.  He graduated from Bolder Colorado High School in 1953. He married Gloria Nelson on March 17, 1962 at the Spring Lake Park Baptist Church in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. Charles was currently a member of the East Oregon Church of God. He was the pastor of the Conger Street Church of God in Waterloo, Iowa for 11 years. He also worked for A G Communications in Genoa, Illinois for 10 years in the maintenance department.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Raymond Currier. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Gloria Currier of Oregon, children; Bruce (Kathy) Currier of Supply, North Carolina, Steve Currier of Oregon, Ann VonMotz of Kirksville, Missouri, Michael Currier of Davenport, Iowa, and Kevin (Nicole) Currier of Harmon, his sister Ferolyn Menzel of Granville, Ohio, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
