LEAF RIVER – Connie Jean Feary, age 73, passed away on Friday February 21, 2020 in her home. Connie was born on Dec. 27, 1946 in Freeport, the daughter of Dwight and Rosella (Christian) Hilliard.
She graduated from Leaf River High School class of 1965. Connie married William Amos Feary on Jan. 18, 1964 in Leaf River. She grew up and raised a family in Leaf River.
Connie loved gardening, crocheting, quilting, making doll clothes, going shopping, reading, going camping, and going on road trips with Bill in the camper. Most of all she loved playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards and computer games.
Connie is survived by her husband: Bill Feary, Leaf River; children: William A. Feary, Freeport, Tammy J. (Feary) Shippert, Freeport, and Allen (Jill) Feary, Leaf River; grandchildren: Dawn Little, James Feary, Nichole Norris, Morgan Shippert, Michael Shippert, Maria Shippert, Joshua Suarez, and Hayley Feary; great-grandchildren: Michael Little, Lucas Norris, Griffen Norris, Maddox Stewart, Emerson Monigold, and Rowan Artman; sister: Carolyn (Mike) Scharfenberg, Sterling.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, twin children: Patty and John; brother: Orville; and sister: Sharon.
Funeral services was held Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, at 10:30 a.m. Burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Oregon. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 in Finch Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
