Debbie Lynn Branch, age 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Her loving husband and daughter were at her side as she passed into God’s warm embrace. Debbie was a very compassionate person and always treated people like she would like to be treated.
She was a loving: daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and good friend to many. She loved her horses and animals. She really enjoyed bowling league with her girlfriends. She loved fishing, but not cleaning fish.
Debbie grew up in Monroe Center and graduated from Stillman Valley High School in 1977. She married Douglas Branch and enjoyed 32 years of marriage. She worked as a waitress and cook in Rock City. On bad snow days, the local farmers and friends would come and pick her up, so she could make everyone breakfast.
She was predeceased by her parents Keith and Mary Hiatt. She was raised by her step-mother Nancy Hiatt, who also passed into God’s warm embrace.
She is survived by her loving husband Doug, her daughter Tiera (Branch) Fuller, Tiera’s husband, Mason, Debbie’s grandchildren: Kevin, Kaylynn, Winter and Lily. Surviving family member also include: her sister Rachel Steffan, and her brothers Raymond Zapata and K.C. Hiatt, along with the whole Hiatt Family.
A private memorial service was held at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Stillman Valley. The service was held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 17. Due to the pandemic, seating is by reservation only. Please contact Doug Branch or Rachel Steffan. Immediately after the Memorial service, we will hold a Celebration of Life Party for friends and family. Please contact Rachel Steffan or Doug Branch for location and time. Private burial will take place on Monday, April 19 at noon at the Scandinavian Cemetery in Rockford.
