BYRON – Joyce A. Streff, age 55, passed away on July 29, 2019 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. She was born in Rockford on July 31, 1963.
Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time gardening and with her pets.
She is survived by her daughters, Mandy (Jason) Coyne, Jamie (Justin Hinshaw) Streff, and Katie Koch all of Byron; mother, Sandra Haynes of Byron; siblings, Sandy (Terry) Gobin of Byron, David (Kathy) Ingram of Byron, Penny Hammer of Byron, Brad (Jeanie) Ingram of Byron, Joe (Tina) Haynes of W.Va., and Matt Haynes of Wis.; grandchildren, Austin, Taylor, Noah, Cailey, Carter, Dylan, Abby, Trinity, Mya, Maci, and Bryson; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at Cornerstone Family Church in Byron.
She is preceded in death by her father James Haynes and sister Glenda Meyers.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is established in Joyce’s name through Stillman Bank.
