OREGON – Karen M. Aurand, age 80, died peacefully in her sleep on May 27, 2020 at Serenity Hospice and Home following a long illness. She was born Jan. 16, 1940 in Dixon. The daughter of George and Carrie (Means) Long.
She graduated from Oregon High School in 1958. She was a loving and amazing mother to her 3 children, Mark, Tracie, and Jeff. Karen worked for over 25 years in the Grocery Industry. Starting at Piggly Wiggly, to Pineway, and then retiring from Super Valu. She enjoyed time with her family and trips to the Casino!
She is survived by 1 sister, Beverly Woodrick from Rockfrod; her son Mark (Tonya) Aurand from Oregon; Daughter Tracie (Steven) White from Oregon; and son Jeff Aurand from Savanna; Grandchildren Adam, Branden, Stephanie, and Alex and Great Grandchildren, Makayla, Kelsi, Lilli, Olyvia, and Greyson.
Pre‐deceased by her parents, sister Judith Day and brother Richard Long.
Due to Covid‐19 a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
