Kenneth (Ken, Kenny) Lindsay was freed from this earthly plane and his demons on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021. He is now at peace. Kenneth was born on Nov. 27, 1970 in Rockford, to Richard C. and Carol A. Lindsay. He was a member of Byron High School class of 1988. Afterwards he attended the apprenticeship school at Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 23 in Rockford. He was a journeyman pipefitter and welder until his death.

Kenneth was greeted upon his arrival in Heaven by his father, Richard, his aunts Barb Lindsay and Jeannette Lindsay along with his paternal grandparents Lyle and Verna Lindsay of Grand Forks, N.D. and his maternal grandparents Albert and Mary Teeters of Tuscola, Ill.

He is survived by his mother, Carol (Bubba) Humphries of Glen Allen, Va.; his sister Noreen Lindsay of Omaha, Neb.; stepsister Tracy Humphries of Lynchburg, Va.; uncles John D. Lindsay (Deb) of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Greg Lindsay (Sara) of Rockford; daughter Stephanie Gilbert and granddaughter Kaylee of Rockton. In addition, because of Ken’s beautiful smile and outgoing personality he leaves many friends to grieve his loss.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date by the family.
