MONROE CENTER – Lola A. Hall, age 96, died Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Generations at Neighbor’s in Byron. She was born Sept. 16, 1923 in Lindina, Wis., the daughter of Max D. and Freda (Sander) Wright.
She graduated from Monroe Center High School in 1941. Lola married Orlo L. Hall on March 7, 1943 in Orlando, Fla. He preceded her in death on Mar. 10, 2001. She was a member of the Monroe Center Community Church for several years. Lola like to garden, play cards, read, and enjoyed puzzles.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Orlo, granddaughter Marsha Hall, great great granddaughter Taytum Berry, sister Evelyn Wright, brother Arthur Wright, and son-in-law Kai Myrvold.
She is survived by her children; Ronald (Luanne) Hall of Davis Junction, Elaine Myrvold of Monroe Center, and Raymond (Jaime) Hall of Monroe Center, brother Ralph (Glenna) Wright of Las Vages, Nev., and sister Louise (Harold) Kolthoff of Belvidere, 6 grandchildren; Michael (Ann) Myrvold, Karin Myrvold, Brian (Janet) Hall, Heather (Alan) Alderks, Brittany (Adam) Frisbie, and Todd Hall, 11 Great Grandchildren; Keegan Myrvold, Kourtnee (Tate) Berry, Kolton (Fiancée) Cassidy) Myrvold, Jovie Myrvold, Adrianne Hall, Tyler Hall, Gwen Hall, Ayden Alderks, Jaxon Alderks, Blake Frisbie, and Bennett Frisbie, many nieces and nephews.
The family would especially like to thank Dorothy and Nova for their loving care of Lola, and thank you to Serenity Hospice and Home for their loving care.
A private graveside service will be held at the Monroe Center Cemetery with the Pastor Scott Nesse of the Stonebridge Church in Rockford officiating. No visitation. A memorial fund is established in Lola’s name. Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Stillman Valley assisted the Hall family.
