BYRON – Marjorie P. Pepin age 91, went home to be with her Lord on July 17, 2021 at Generations at Neighbors in Byron. She was born at home on the farm north of Byron on April 23, 1930 to John and Hattie (Palmer) Paul.

She married Leon Pepin on April 4, 1964 who preceded her in death. Marjorie worked many jobs throughout her life including at AmRock, Don’s Diner, and the Byron Forrest Preserve. She was a devoted Christian who attended the Red Brick Church in Stillman Valley. Marjorie will be remembered as someone enjoyable to be around. To know her was to love her. She loved to cook and was amazing at it. In her spare time; she also enjoyed playing cards. She was an animal lover especially her little dog. She was a people person at heart and most of all Marjorie loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Paul of Mt. Morris and Kristine Reed of Love’s Park; sister, Charlotte Mennenga of Byron; grandchildren, Michael Schrader of Arizona, Melissa McAbee of Indiana, Kelly McCracken of Rockford, Brandon Reed of Davis, and Brent Reed of Love’s Park; great grandchildren, Bryce, Ryan, Dakota, Lexus, Aspen, Lorinda, Wyatt, Liberty, and Amelia; and great grandson, Cooper.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Brad Pepin.

A memorial service will be held at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Byron at 2 p.m. on July 30, 2021 with Pastor Chris Brauns officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. To leave an online condolence please visit www.farrellhollandgale.com
