Mary Ilene Cullor, 82, of Forreston, passed away, Friday Sept. 10, 2021, at Swedish American Hospital, Rockford. Mary was born June 18, 1939, in Unionville, Mo., the daughter of Francis and Mary (Norton) Medlin. On Dec. 31, 1955, Mary married Luther Cullor in Unionville, Mo. Mary took on many roles in her life, farmer, homemaker, she worked at Micro, but most importantly of all loving mother.

Her yard reflects her love of flowers, flowers, and more flowers. In addition, she enjoyed camping with her husband and family dog Sammy. She loved her guardian and protector Sammy.
She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband Luther Cullor of Forreston; four children, Douglas (Karen) Cullor of Byron, Dwight (Hope) Cullor of Leaf River, Sue (Michael) Bariether of Rochelle, and Duane (Judy) Cullor of Freeport; also, surviving are seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Robert, Neita, Jasper, Reva, Roy Lee, Neva, James, Francis, Clinten Carl, Iris Coleen, and Lucille Shirlene.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Forreston. Pastor David Rogula officiated. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
