DAVIS JUNCTION – Patricia M. Franz, age 66, passed away on Feb. 15, 2020 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was in born Chicago on Jan. 3, 1954 the daughter of Lyle and Lorraine (Fry) Petty.
She married Richard Franz on May 24, 1987. Patricia worked for over 33 years for CR Industries in Elgin. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood and was also a member of the Historical Society of Davis Junction. In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed fishing and crafting especially jewelry. She loved miniatures and ran her own online business for the past three years called Pat’s Tiny Treasures that focused on miniatures and her jewelry. More than anything, Patricia was a devoted and loving mother.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of Davis Junction; daughter, Elizabeth Petty of Davis Junction; siblings, Diane Kantrovich of Minn., William (Nancy) Petty of Md., and Barbara Palms of Rockford; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Thomas Petty and Linda Meeghan, and brothers-in-law Forrest Kantrovich and Jim Meeghan.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 at the Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Stillman Valley. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. with a visitation prior to the service from 9-10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lindenwood with Rev.
